Rob Avis has been recognized with a diplomate in Education from the Permaculture Institute of North America (PINA). As such, PINA recognizes and endorses the Verge Permaculture Design Course and curriculum and our graduates hold a PDC certificate that is recognized by PINA.

Rob & Michelle have published two titles with New Society Publishers (Essential Rainwater Harvesting, 2018 & Building Your Adaptive Habitat, 2020 Release). New Society Publishers’ mission is to publish books that contribute in fundamental ways to building an ecologically sustainable and just society, and to do so with the least possible impact on the environment, in a manner that models this vision.

Rob and Michelle are both individual members of APEGA, The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) which regulates the practices of engineering and geoscience in Alberta.
