Brendan is a Landscape Architect currently working in SE Ontario. While Permaculture-type concepts were taught to him over the course of his studies, it always seemed they were more theory than practice. But now, using the education he gained through the Online PDC, he feels prepared and excited to begin applying permaculture principles in his ongoing Landscape Architecture work.

Through the Online PDC, Brendan was able to connect with another student in his region, Nola Marion, and together they produced an incredible final design project. Brendan was able to apply his high quality architecture skills to the design of the Marion farm, to develop a long-term permaculture plan for the design of the next generation development of their property that will protect, optimize and properly manage the ecosystem and develop its potential for future generations. Additionally, they created opportunities through the design for people to gather, learn, relax and appreciate various aspects of nature.
