Jennifer RobertsJanuary 18, 2023.When I was a little girl I read a book called The Secret Garden, where a little girl who is neglected finds a key to a garden that has also been neglected, and they come alive slowly together. I came very tentatively, but through taking my PDC, I found that Verge has handed me the lost key, only the life of the garden is everything surrounding me. I feel that I understand how to become more like Dicken, my favorite character, who understands the quiet magic of how to speak to animals. I can't speak to animals yet, but I do have a much deeper reverence and appreciation for the incredible processes of life everywhere around me.Posted on Google
Sarah KeatesJanuary 10, 2023.As a relatively new acreage owner with big dreams to do it "all", I feel that this course was just what I needed to tap into a community of like-minded peers and begin to gain valuable knowledge. I say "begin" because this course made me realize just how little I really know. I am an avid gardener and herbalist so it's not like I am brand new to these ideas and concepts - it's just that there is SO much information to absorb. It's like a very deep rabbit hole that has lots of hidden treasures! So I think that above all, I am most grateful for the abundant resources available to us to continue learning as students and for the connections that I have made during this course.
