CODES & STANDARDS
There are many codes and standards that are applicable to rainwater harvesting systems.
It’s important to know that a standard is only legally binding if it has been enacted as such by your local legislation. Otherwise, the standard is purely advisory.
Also worth noting is that even though you may run into a regulatory roadblock, there are often alternative compliance pathways—be sure to ask your regulator about this possibility.
