In Community, Design, Events

There are some GREAT events happening next weekend in Calgary (March 2nd, 3rd, & 4th, 2017).

Cabin Fever (a party hosted by the Permaculutre Calgary Guild) is always a highlight of the year, and Mark Lakeman, from the Portland City Repair Project is going to be the keynote. We attended Mark Lakeman’s presentation a few years back and absolutely loved it. We highly recommend that you try and make it to either Cabin Fever or one of the other awesome workshops that are being put on by other great organizations (see details below).

Want to pick our brains about any permaculture-related topic, or perhaps a project you are working on?

Rob & I both are going to be part of the “Living Tools” facilitated portion of Cabin Fever. That means that you’ll have an opportunity to ask questions and solicit project feedback directly from ourselves as well as a bunch of other great permaculture practitioners (Mark Lakeman, Adrian Buckley, Luke Kimmel, Jeremy Zoltan, and many more!).

We have some tickets to give away!!

We are giving away two sets of two tickets to the gathering & lecture The Inclusive City: Reimagining Urban Life with Mark Lakeman on Thursday, March 2nd, starting at 6 pm and being held at SAIT (Value of $40 per set). For more information see below.

To be eligible for the draw we simply ask that you help us to spread the word about the event. Details on the entry form.

Draw will be made on Monday, February 27th, 2017.

See you there!! (We’ll be there for sure!)

Mark’s work incorporates broad participation, local ownership, empowering local populations, creative expression in planned and unplanned processes, and social capital as the primary economic engine of change.
