Edmonton! See You Soon!
We are stoked to be heading to Edmonton in February to serve up another Permaculture Design Course with a new set of inspired folks! But before that all happens we will be up in the your fair city at the end of January for a few really awesome events. Come meet Joel Salatin and get your favourite book signed or maybe one of our FREE talks on the Eco-Transformation of our home would benefit you? Either way we would love to see you so click below for more information on each event.
Joel Salatin Book Signing – Hosted by Earth’s General Store: Wednesday January 23rdWell, once you’ve read even one chapter of Joel Salatin’s nine books, its pretty clear that the horror-story of the industrial farming model needn’t represent your reality and the dream ofa profitable, healthy, sustainable, beyond-organic small farm enterprise is quite achievable. We (Verge) are thrilled to be hosting him for three days of how-to workshops in March, but in the meantime – come’on out to this book signing in Edmonton! |

The Eco-transformation of Our Urban Home – FREE Presentations: January 24th & 25thFor the last three years we have been working hard to convert our Calgary inner city home into a thriving permaculture project complete with a front yard food forest, water-harvesting features, abundant food production, compost-making, a solar greenhouse, low-maintenance veggie gardens, greywater, natural building material demonstrations, and energy retrofits on the house. We’ve learned a lot, had many successes (and a few failures), and more than anything else are excited to be sharing our story. |
